We are delighted to be able to offer you this rare chance to be part of a truly amazing event; the Kent Country Show has been held in Kent since 1923, and now attracts between 80,000 and 100,000 visitors per year. This year, Love Fairs will be running the Antiques and Vintage Village section of the show, which will feature 65 exhibitors as well as some great vintage entertainment.

Kent’s largest county show featuring an amazing array of attractions, held at the Kent County Showground in Detling, Kent and takes place on Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July 2018 – open 9.00.00am to 6.00pm each day.

Apart from the Antiques and Vintage Village, the many attractions will include; The Household Cavalry, flying display from a Spitfire, vintage vehicles, music and dance, livestock shows, food and drink, vintage funfair, the UK Pole Climbing Championships, Morris dancers, show jumping, flowers and garden shows, a cookery theatre and much, much more. Located in the large John Hendry Pavilion between the 2 main show rings, 65 exhibitors will be able to sell their items to visitors. The pitches are mostly indoors (though there will be a small number of outdoor pitches available) and we will also be arranging a variety of great vintage entertainment to help to keep everyone entertained.

Every pitch measures a generous 3 x 4 metres, and will cost £260 for all three days (the equivalent of £86 per day) – this cost includes electricity if required. Trestle tables are available to order at £6 per table for the 3 days (for example; 2 tables will cost £12 total for the 3 days) .

For a limited time, we are now accepting applications from exhibitors on our waiting list, before accepting applications from non-waiting list dealers – the deadline for this exclusivity is Wednesday 28th March. No, due to the set-up of the show, part bookings are not possible. You will set up on the Thursday before the show and must attend for all three days of the show (Friday to Sunday).

No, we will consider all applications and let you know if you have been successful.

Exhibitors will unload and set up on Thursday 9th July, no unloading/set up will be possible on the morning of the first day of the show.

You may pay by card over the telephone, bank transfer or cheque.

Yes, this is a pre-requisite for any exhibitor attending the show. If you are an existing Love Fairs Exhibitor, you should already posses this insurance. You will be required to provide Love Fairs with a copy of this. If your cover has lapsed, or do not yet have cover; there are many insurance companies offering this type of insurance relatively inexpensively (cost likely to range from around £40 to £60 for a whole year).

No, you will be required to bring your own chairs.

There will be three ways to pay this year;

(1) Entire cost at the time of booking OR (2) Pay in 2 instalments to spread the payment at no extra cost to you OR (3) Pay in 3 instalments to spread the payment at no extra cost to you:

If you chose to pay in two instalments, the instalment dates will be as follows:
• 50% deposit: within 1 week of booking
• 50% balance due by or before: 3rd April 2020

If you choose to pay in three interest free instalments, the instalment dates will be as follows:
• 33% deposit due: within 1 week of booking
• 33% balance due by or before: 1st November 2019
• 33% balance due by or before: 3rd April 2020

To pay by 3 instalments, you must book by 31st October 2019.

  1. Booking: 1) A pitch is not deemed as reserved until full and cleared payment has been received by Love Fairs. 2) Payment for the stall should be made within one week of the booking
  2. Cancellations and Refunds: For any booking cancellation madesix weeks or less before the date of the fair, no refund or transfer of fee to a subsequent fair will be made (refunds will be subject to a 10% administration/processing).
  3. Insurance: All Stallholders (Exhibitors and Dealers) are responsible for their own insurances (including public liability and product liability) and must provide a copy to Love Fairs after booking.
  4. Sale of Goods: 1) No new goods are to be sold by the stallholder at a Love Fairs’ event. 2) The stallholder must make all attempts to accurately label goods for sale, and agree to refund if later found not to be 3) Firearms are not permitted to be sold at any time 4) Love Fairs reserves the right to ask a stallholder to withdraw an item for sale if deemed inappropriate.
  5. Set up/Leaving the fair: Stallholders agree to be set up by 6.30pm on the day before the show (Thursday), and not to start to pack away goods before 6.00pm on the final day of the show (Sunday)
  6. Damage to premises: No fixings of any type are to be attached to the walls at the venue.
  7. Dogs/animals: Any dogs onsite must be kept on a lead at all times.
  8. Lighting & extensions: 1) Any electricity extensions or lighting used must have passed the appropriate British Standards levels and hold a valid PAT test 2)Kettles or similar devices are never to be plugged in and used anywhere on the site.
  9. Liability & Risk: 1) Every Exhibitor attends each fair at their own risk. 2) Love Fairs accepts no liability for any costs, expenses, damages or losses incurred by stallholders (whether direct or indirect).
  10. Liability Indemnity: All Stallholders shall keep Love Fairs indemnified in full against all costs, expenses, damages and losses (whether direct or indirect).
  11. Acceptance of Terms & Conditions: By using our services, you are deemed to fully agree and accept our Terms and Conditions.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside theshow venue.
